At Trinity, everything we do is about God’s grace. Known locally as “the Fish Church,” we seek to be:

F - Faithful to God

I - Intentional in Witness

S - Spiritually Centered

H - Hospitable to All

Let’s dive into that acronym:

F - Faithful to God

We gather as a church because of our shared faith in the triune God.

This faith animates all that we do. We believe God has called and claimed us as His own beloved children. Jesus Christ is our Lord and Savior, and His Holy Spirit guides and directs us. The Bible is the inspired word of God that tells the story of God’s great love for us. The Church is our community of faith, where we accompany one another in our journey as disciples of Christ.

I - Intentional in Witness

We share the good news of God’s love in word and deed.

We are “evangelicals,” which means our focus is on God’s grace. (The Greek word evangel means “good news,” and refers to the forgiveness and freedom we have received through Jesus Christ our Lord.) We seek to share the good news that God loves us through word and deed, service and fellowship, education and prayer.

S - Spiritually Centered

We are Lutherans, which means our spirituality is centered on God’s grace.

The Lutheran church emerged in the 1500s during the Reformation in order to revive the message of radical grace that is at the heart of scripture (Ephesians 2:5 -“by grace you have been saved”). Today, Lutherans have partnerships with many other denominations, and we welcome all who seek to grow in faith and experience the power of God’s grace at work in their lives.

H - Hospitable to All

We welcome all people because God welcomes all people.

We believe Jesus Christ died to save sinners (1 Tim 1:15), and we acknowledge that we are foremost among them. At Trinity, we seek to extend the grace that we have received to one another, welcoming all people in the name of Christ. We value diversity, and we welcome you wherever you are in your faith journey.
